Spanning over 25 years, I started in hospitality creating beautiful experiences, then hosting dignitaries as a Capitol Hill docent and as a PR advisor gracing the stages of Presidents, Vice Presidents, and European Chancellors.
I know the pressures and pleasures of PR, as someone who speaks on prestigious stages with dignitaries, celebrities, world leaders, and C-Suite Fortune 500 companies with Queen Royal Court status.
Currently, I serve on 6 National and International Boards and studied culture and design in Germany and Japan on a Fulbright. I have also brought together culture and design to bear on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) for Human Rights programs.

Dr. Jamay is the Owner and CEO of Leading Lavishly, a PR boutique. She comes come to the world of design as a Master PR Advisor and luxury expert with over 20 years of experience. Jamay started her career in hospitality and on Capitol Hill for Members of Congress as a docent and PR assistant.
She uses er expertise to advise interior designers on attracting high-end clientele by learning to become a sought after-brand. As a Ph.D. in culture and teaching with a focus on PR in design, she supports the design community and all if it’s diversity.

Her Journey:
Stemming from her experiences in hospitality, Dr. Jamay's career went on to Capitol Hill, where she honed her skills in creating impeccable experiences in fast-paced, high-profile environments. From there, she transitioned to academia, quickly becoming a top educator holding special assignments and specializing in public relations, strategic partnerships, business development, and international advising. Before earning her Ph.D. in culture and teaching, she studied design and culture on a Transatlantic award to Berlin and Frankfurt, and a Fulbright to Tokyo and Kobayashi. Solidifying her reputation as a “Queen-maker” and a thought leader in wealth, PR, business development, leadership, and image.
Today, she utilizes her extensive knowledge and connections to empower designers, particularly women interior designers, through personalized, one-on-one advising.
